Making The Right Choice
We provide advice and support to all prospective students interested in finding out more about a career in teaching and the opportunities available from studying Arts.
Open Day
Our Open Day takes place on in November 2012 (10am to 4pm) and gives you the opportunity to find out about the student life. Prospective students, parents and teachers can meet staff and students and take tours of the campus and facilities.

Career Exhibitions
MDI participates at a variety of careers exhibitions and events, both locally and nationally. At each exhibition you will have an opportunity to meet either staff and students who will be able to assist you with your queries.
School Visit
School visits provide students with an opportunity to hear all about the student life in MDI right in the comfort of their own school! Guidance counsellors who would like to arrange a school visit can get in touch with suitable dates and times.
Personalised Campus Visits
There is no better way to find out about student life than to make a personal visit. Prospective students have the opportunity to visit our college and speak with some of our staff. You can take a tour of the campus with one of our Student Ambassadors who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
To arrange a campus visit, just give us a call, tell us which courses you are interested in and the dates you are available to come - it’s that simple!
Student Taster Days
If you are interested in studying at MDI, you may find it useful to attend one of our taster days. Taster days are an exciting way to learn more about your particular course and career opportunities and really sample the student experience at MDI.
These events usually last for half a day (can be customised) and will include talks from subject tutors and student ambassadors and a chance to participate in some of our college activities.
