Students Union

My name is Teide O'Brien and I am the recently elected Student Union President of Mater Dei Institute of Education. We as a Students Union are here for the main purpose of representing the students. The Students Union has the responsibility of organising events such as the Christmas Party and Annual College Ball. I as the President attend all meetings within the College and act as a voice for the students.

Mater Dei offers a small friendly environment for students to study in. The college runs on a first name basis which enables everyone to get to know each other. The college offers both a wide range of academic and social roles within the college. There are a large number of societies and clubs which can be joined by any student. There is a large support network here also for all students and staff.

On a personal note I would say that picking a College to attend is a daunting task but at Mater Dei I have grown academically and as a person and I would highly rate it as a college.

Remember every student deserves a voice and the students Union is that Voice.
