Quality Promotion

Mater Dei Institute was the first Irish College within the University Sector to be reviewed by the EUA.

The EUA report, issued in February 2006 and approved in November 2006, notes that in "MDI there is academic innovation in education and interdisciplinary thinking and reflection" (p.18).

It sees the Institute as a "driving force in developing strategies for enhancing cross-cultural exchanges and ethical awareness within the education system in Ireland" (p.19).

The EUA carried out the review on behalf of the Irish Universities Quality Board (IUQB).
