The Religion Teachers' Association of Ireland Conference

On Sat 21st of November 2009 Dr. Gareth Byrne, Head of the School of Education at Mater Dei Institute, gave the keynote address at the Religion Teachers' Association of Ireland Conference.

The conference was held at the Monaghan Education Centre. Other presentations were given by Noreen Hynes, State Examination Commission, Lorraine Gillespie, National Support Officer for Religious Education (SLSS), Ailís Travers of Veritas working in conjunction with Mater Dei on FaithConnect, and Tom Purcell, Religious Educator and School Chaplain - all graduates of the Institute.
