When can students choose their course modules?

A list of course modules will be available upon arrival at the Institute.

When will we receive official transcript of results?

Semester 1 student transcripts will normally be sent mid February
Semester 2 student transcripts will normally be sent mid August

Where will transcripts be sent?

Transcripts will be sent to the International Office of your home University

Will you accept fax/email applications?

Yes we will accept fax or email applications initially but originals will also be required

Is there a computer lab available to International students?

Yes there are two ICT labs and the Institute has Wireless access in the main building and in the Library

Are there sports facilities available?

Students in MDI have been very competitive in the sporting arena. The college offers students a choice of Gaelic football, hurling, and soccer for both males and females and students have the option of engaging in a wide range of other sports through the clubs and facilities in DCU. How will my courses be assessed?

Normally each module will be assessed by a written assignment of c.1500 words

Are school practice/placements available?

No, unfortunately we are unable to offer school practice/placements

What Insurance cover is provided?

The Institute does not provide any insurance cover. Please check with your co-ordinator to see if insurance is provided from your home institution for your study abroad
