Application Procedures
If you would like to participate in a period of study at MDI, you must do so through your Institutes co-ordinator.
The International Office at your college will provide information in regard to the requirements to study at MDI.
Application forms can be obtained from The International Office at MDI or downloaded here
ACADEMIC CALENDAR
Semester 1:
Classes normally begin in the 3rd week of September and run until the 2nd week of December
Applications for study during semester 1 and for the full year should be submitted in full no later than 28th June
Semester 2:
Classes normally begin in the 2nd week of January and run until the end of April. However, due to Teaching Practice taking place in January some lectures will start later than others. These are as follows:
- 2nd Year lectures will normally begin in the last week of January (these will have a 2 in the module code)
- 3rd Year lectures will normally begin in the 1st week of February (these will have a 3 in the module code)
- 4th Year lectures will normally begin in the 2nd week of February (these will have a 4 in the module code)
Applications for study during semester 2 should be submitted in full no later than 25th October
